Ocean

Ocean was a transformative renovation designed to reimagine an existing beach cottage around the way our client wanted to live. The brief centred on creating a true master retreat, improving the functionality of the existing bedrooms, strengthening the connection to the garage, and introducing dedicated spaces for outdoor living and relaxation, including a new pool.

The design focused on improving flow throughout the home, with new additions carefully integrated to feel as though they had always been part of the original residence. A central pool courtyard became the heart of the design, enhancing natural light, ventilation and visual connectivity while creating a private outdoor sanctuary.

The result is a cohesive and contemporary home that balances practicality with resort-style living, transforming the everyday experience of the home through improved functionality, stronger connections between spaces, and a seamless relationship between indoors and outdoors.
