Our clients envisioned a relaxed coastal residence that would take full advantage of its elevated setting and expansive ocean views, while responding thoughtfully to the site's steep natural fall. They sought a home that felt light, open and timeless, with a refined coastal character and a strong connection between everyday living, outdoor entertaining and the surrounding landscape.

The design responds with a layered coastal residence that works with the natural slope of the site while maximising its outlook. Strong gabled forms define the architecture, with a dramatic high gable over the main living spaces creating a sense of openness and drawing the eye toward the ocean beyond. Exposed rafters add character and detail, reinforcing the relaxed coastal aesthetic while giving the home a distinctive architectural identity.

A restrained coastal palette of crisp white weatherboards and light finishes creates a fresh, timeless exterior. Expansive glazing has been carefully positioned to capture views, bring natural light deep into the home and strengthen the connection between interior and exterior spaces. To the rear, generous covered living areas flow toward the pool and landscaped surrounds, creating an inviting setting for entertaining and everyday family life.
