Seascape

Designed to embrace its elevated coastal setting, Seascape captures sweeping panoramic ocean views while creating a relaxed and luxurious retreat for everyday living.  Tim English Design was engaged to create a contemporary coastal home that would maximise the spectacular ocean views offered by the site while delivering a relaxed and luxurious environment for everyday living. The brief centred on embracing the property's beachfront position, creating strong indoor-outdoor connections and designing a home that would capture the essence of the coastal lifestyle through light, openness and connection to the surrounding landscape.

The design responds by positioning the primary living and entertaining spaces on the upper level, allowing the home to fully engage with the panoramic ocean outlook. Expansive glazing and a dramatic gabled roof form frame the ever-changing seascape while drawing natural light deep into the interior. Generous outdoor entertaining areas extend from the living spaces, creating seamless transitions between indoors and outdoors and encouraging natural ventilation through cooling coastal breezes. A carefully selected palette of crisp white finishes, natural stone and warm timber accents reinforces the home's contemporary coastal character.
